2 20 Japanese, 15 Italians, 10 Germans and only 5 Americans? Most of the Top 100 have almost 100 Americans… The internet is free, nobody is stopping nobody… I don’t even know 1 good Russian singer! want to know why?! Cause they don’t know how to market their own.. sorry for them! I am not an American, I am from Romania… but until someone gives me a good alternative to American music, which won’t happen soon… I’ll keep enjoying Sinatra, Armstrong and a whole lot of other great singers.
Once again I disagree… Sinatra has one of the greatest voices ever… Maybe he got lucky, or maybe it was entirely his merit, I don’t know. What I do know though, is that his songs go straight to the heart and feet like no other. As about Armstrong… he’s not good, he is the great Louis Armstrong! Americans built and modeled the US the way they saw fit, nobody stopped the rest of the world to follow to example… why don;t I see Top 100 Singers of all time made out of 50 Russians, 2

Well I totally agree with you. I thought you are just another american who wants only his people to be the top. Armstrong was good indeed and I wish he were on that list, but Sinatra’s singing was/is nothing special, he just had luck he lived in usa and to had choosen the right recording company.
I would not question Kosovels ingenuity just because he is Slovene. Im sorry to say that I am not familiar with his work, but if he was alive today, he would tell you not to judge people by their race but by their deeds and legacy. But Im not expecting that from you After all, you did not shake Sinatra’s hand! And it would have been nice of you to have posted the fragment in English, cause I too now more languages than you can comprehend.
