Song in Sign - The Rose
I recorded this for a friend when his mom passed away. :( There are two songs I can never hear without signing them, this is one of them, so when my friend put the lyrics in his blog for his mom I had to sign it for him too. I learned the signs from a good friend of mine back in 1998. We were both in RITSMA, the RIT Student Music Association, and The Rose was one of the songs that the club learned to sing for our Singing Valentines delivery. I have been learning ASL. I have a friend who is deaf. It taught me to communicate without words. Her signing is beautiful to watch. It’s like she is dancing.
