marhaba.i ment that algerians do speak arabic majenah and yes it’s a mix as u said it is but there r more arabic in it than other languages and allmost everyone can speak slang arabic in algeria we just don’t use it in our daily lives we use “darija”.salam

@Majenah I’m not trying to argue about this, but I DO know what I’m talking about, there’s a difference between slang and Algerian Arabic (Darija). They do not speak slang. And at least, Texans can understand SOME words that the Scottish say. However, for example, an Egyptian will not understand ANYTHING of what the Algerians say. It’s just completely different. It’s got Turkish, Spanish and French words in it, and it is only spoken in Algeria. Peace.

why , is there a standard slang for all the arabs? i don’t think so, so what ya just said is like trying to understand why texans do not get what scottish say (and both called english speakers) you say “hey” and i say “howdy” and both
mean “hello” in standard english. hope ya got my point

@Majenah lol. 1st of all im a girl. lol. 2nd of all, its not slang arabic. I speak slang and proper arabic, so i know what they both sound like. im not confused. its ALGERIAN arabic. OMG ppl. Seriously. Trust me, there’s a difference.

bcoz the one he is speaking is slang arabic, so basically that has nothing to do with proper arabic
